The Problem

Neil is the CFO of a fast-growing Southeastern sales distribution company.  The company is owned by a capital investment firm and he is measured on revenues. Neil takes this responsibility very seriously.  He has two offices with warehouses and multiple salespeople who work remotely. They use a Software as a Service (SaaS) Order Management Software to run his operations and Salesforce for customer relationship management.  Recently, Neil’s Atlanta location has experienced excessive downtime as they have intermittent issues connecting to the Internet.  He is very concerned about how this will affect his bottom line and his job.  Phone calls are dropping at their call center and they are losing clients.  The field salespeople are putting in the orders, but the network is dragging during key business hours and shipping is being delayed. He has 9 outside sales reps with laptops, 52 office personnel with desktops, 1 hosted server, 2 firewalls, and 5 network printers.  He uses Office 365 for all his Office Applications.

Customized IT Solution:

INSI developed a plan that not only addressed all their needs but also resolved their connection issues.  The first thing INSI did, was to work with the client to set up a redundant line with a second phone carrier.  They also installed a dedicated fiber line for greater reliability.  They then presented a plan to transfer them to a hosted PBX.  This solved Neil’s most pressing problem.

Neil wants full IT support at a fixed rate.  Although this does not fit the customized IT plan, Neil is still able to get his rate 131% lower than what he currently has, due to INSI’s tiered structure.  Why?  Because the other managed service provider has a catch-all system where the Tier 3 engineers fix all the problems.  INSI has a tiered structure that takes advantage of the lower salaried engineers for simple issues.  Since 80% of the issues that come into the helpdesk are simple issues that Tier 1 & Tier 2 could resolve in 15 minutes, this structure reduces his overall cost without compromising the quality.
